After years of teaching experience spanning fields such as neuroscience, biology, psychology, bioethics, neuroethics, and feminist studies, I have developed my own particular teaching philosophy and style. This philosophy is also at the center of my workshops, where I help individuals (students and faculty) or larger organizations (universities, professional societies) to think through important questions. I use comics and other creative means to help people to pursue exciting new directions for their work, or to help people and organizations to think through difficult ethical issues.

I have led both virtual and in-person workshops at institutions such as the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Lehigh University (Bethlehem, PA), Barnard College (NY), Trinity College (CT) and Emory University (GA). I have also used comics to help organize, clarify and communicate key directions for the Global Neuroethics Working Group.

Workshops are usually tailor-made to fit the subject matter and specific goals of individuals and groups.
